The Prickled Herald is a satire website. We don't have user accounts, we don't sell anything, and we don't sell your information. Here's the short version of what happens when you visit.
What we collect
- Visit statistics. Our host, Cloudflare, records basic, privacy-friendly statistics (pages viewed, rough country, browser type) so we know which stories people read. These stats don't use cookies or identify you personally.
- Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can read and reply to it.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
- We don't use advertising trackers. If we add ads in the future, we'll update this page first.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and share buttons link to Facebook, X and Instagram. Those services have their own privacy policies and may see your visit when you use them.
Keeping and deleting your information
Contact form messages are kept only as long as we need them to respond. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, send us a message through the contact page.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
